Floor Joists in place

In between the rain and storms the builders managed to put in the wall plates and the floor joists.
This hasn't been completed yet - but hopefully better weather will allow work to get back to normal speed this week.

Joists definition "A small rectangular sectional member arranged parallel from wall to wall in a building, or resting on beams or girders. They support a floor or the laths or furring strips of a ceiling."

Wall plate definition : "A horizontal timber member placed along the top of a wall to support joists and to spread their load."

Now - I didn't know what a wall plate was until a couple of weeks ago!
