Not much Progress

The builders had to finish off another job this week - so we haven't seen them since Tuesday. The rain we have had would probably have stopped them anyway.
The garage is ready for windows and doors now - and electrics and external plastering.


Christmas is on the way so I don't expect too much progress. The timber for the roof has been delivered and it's getting a good soaking. Hope that doesn't harm it?

House progress pictures below

A few more pictures are shown below - taken on Friday 9th December.
The garage roof has nearly been finished. The internal walls in the house are well underway too. The roof materials for the house should arrive before Christmas and may well start going up after Christmas.
The kitchen planning will be the next thing we need to get sorted out - so we can then get positions for sockets and lights for the electrician (who we haven't booked yet either.) The plumber will have to be called in fairly soon too and the window fitters. We haven't finalised any of these yet - so plenty more to do....

The garage - with most of the roof completed now. We will be the first house round here to have the garage done first !

View from the front as as at 9/12/04. It's not a great picture because of all the cars and vans in the way. The outside walls are full height now and the internal ground floor walls are being built. It's a dormer bungalow - by the way.
